Golden Globes 2021 – Sono state ufficialmente annunciate le nomination della 78esima edizione dei Golden Globe Awards, che verranno assegnati domenica 28 febbraio 2021 (nella notte tra il 28/02 e il 01/03 in Italia)
A presentare i premi assegnati dalla Hollywood Foreign Press, l’associazione della stampa estera di Hollywood, saranno Tina Fey e Amy Poehler, che condurranno la cerimonia rispettivamente da New York e Los Angeles. Per la prima volta nella storia del premio, le due conduttrici saranno collegate da due città diverse e da entrambe le coste americane.
Il cinema “non al cinema”
Un gran numero dei film candidati non sono mai usciti al cinema, ma solo sulle piattaforme streaming, e non poteva essere altrimenti dato l’anno che ci siamo lasciati alle spalle.
Stiamo parlando di Mank e Il processo ai Chicago 7, ma anche il Leone d’oro alla Mostra del cinema di Venezia Nomadland e Pieces of a Woman, per cui Vanessa Kirby ha vinto la Coppa Volpi come miglior attrice.
Nelle candidature c’è anche gloria per l’Italia, grazie alla nomination come miglior film straniero de La vita davanti a sé di Edoardo Ponti con protagonista Sophia Loren. Il film vanta anche la candidatura di Laura Pausini con Io sì (Seen) per la miglior canzone originale.
E poi la grande rivelazione dell’anno, Anya Taylor Joy, che con Emma è nominata sia come migliore attrice in un film comedy, che con La regina degli scacchi come miglior attrice in una miniserie.
Tra le serie tv più nominate? La regina degli scacchi, The Crown, e The Undoing – Le verità non dette.
